Dick Albert
Richard E. Albert, known traditionally as Dick Albert (born 1945) was the co-chief meteorologist on WCVB-TV, channel 5, in Boston, Massachusetts along with Harvey Leonard. He was with the station from 1978–2009, delivering the evening and nighttime forecasts. He presented the 5:00 and 6:00 weather reports on ''NewsCenter 5'', while Leonard worked on the 5:30 and 11:00 newscasts. On February 4, 2009, Albert announced his retirement. His final forecast was on February 26.〔http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news/18640398/detail.html〕 In late 2010, he contributed to the book, "Extreme New England Weather" written by Josh Judge, with his thoughts on "The Perfect Storm" in 1991.
